Irgendwie sind sie verhext, die Sockapalooza-Strümpf…

Somehow the Sockapalooza-Socks are jinxed…

Das war der erste Anlauf / This was the first try:

Friday Harbour Socks. Sie sehen super aus, fühlen sich toll an, aber das Tragegefühl an den Füssen ist supermerkwürdig. Irgendwie ist das Garn zu weich.

Friday Harbour Socks. They look fabulous and have a nice feel. But wearing them at the feet feels superstrange. The yarn is just too soft.

Also Versuch Nr.2 / Second Take:

Diagonal Rib Socks aus Drachenwolle. Mit der per Muster vorgesehenen Maschenzahl gab´s wildes Pooling, also habe ich einen Mustersatz weniger angeschlagen, was von der Größe her auch besser hinzukommen scheint.

Aaaaaaaaaber…die Wolle mustert viel zu wild, als daß man das Maschenmuster noch gut erkennen könnte. Insgesamt steht diese Kombination weder dem Garn noch dem Muster gut zu Gesicht. Also wird gerippelt. Das Garn wird dann demnächst wohl Bestandteil von irgendwas Baby-Kompatiblem 😉

Diagonal Rib Socks in Drachenwolle.. There was wildest pooling with the original stitchcount, so I ditched one pattern repeat. That seems to result in a proper size, too.

Buuuuuuuuuuut… the colours of the yarn in combination with this particular stitch pattern look much too busy! Rippety-RIP! The yarns gonna be part of some future baby-item.
